Default My first of the year

This is my first firearm purchase of the new year. Colt Officers Series 80 1911. It has a few bugs that need to be worked out but for a used pistol I don't think it was ever carried.

The Officers model is a nice firearm, Just modify one thing, replace the spring plug with a "clark" drop in spring plug, If you want to carry it and have it be 100% all the time, get the drop in plug, The stock ones will occasionally crack and break around that little tab on the bottom, that is all that holds them in, and without that, No spring-----
I bought one for mine in stainless, Same as yours. But mine is an enhanced version, I added a few things too!
    Great shooter!
