    Default Wesson, Dan Wesson

Just picked this up on Friday at Gun Toter's in Eynon PA. I've been looking for a 6" 357 for awhile now, but couldn't get the cash together for what I was seeing. They had this one sitting in the case for $300. Too nice to let it go. Probably like alot of people, I've shyed away from Dan Wesson because they never seem to have caught on. Did some research, asked some questions, looked good to go. The gun itself is beautiful, Python quality bluing, super smooth trigger in single and double action, and VERY accurate. In the target pix, I suspect the left sided grouping of my shots has more to do with me standing right of center than anything else. Thanks to Mike and Rich at Gun Toter's and our very own Plain Old Bill.

    Good catch!

I have been a DW fan since the 80's. My pride and joy is a DW .44 bought used in 88. It still gets used it once or twice a month.

Nice pick up. I love mine as well. I refer to it as the poor mans Python and notice that the only ones who disagree with that statement are those who own Pythons ans spent the $$$$$$$. Its always fun to outshoot someone using a 300 dollar gun when they are using 1000 dollar one. Ive been on the other end of that scenerio too and it sucks. All in fun though. Enjoy
