SAO for pocket carry?
I used to CC a S&W BG inside a front pocket holster.
Now, for several reasons, I have switched to the P-238.
I need to decide weather to carry a "cocked and locked" in the pocket or get a OWB holster.
Not sure what to do.
What is your advice/opinion?
Thanks....

Imho
As long as you're using a good pocket holster you will be fine cocked and locked. I carry sa iwb and in a pocket holster that way. Have been for a couple of years now and I've never had the safety come off on its own on any of my guns. Just remember not to carry anything other than the gun in that pocket and use a holster that completely covers the trigger. I'm partial to the desantis nemesis myself.

Re: SAO for pocket carry?
I have carried a Bersa Thunder both IWB and in pocket with holster cocked/locked, but usually just in DA since the trigger pull isn't bad. Never had an issue, even the time a long time ago I dropped it in a tile potty stall floor at Walmart once. Oops. No one saw it, they probably assumed I dropped a giant iPhone if they heard.
Thank God the firing pin locks with the safety on. Scared the crap out of me though...which I was doing anyways.
If I carried with the safety off and dropped it...bad news says the manual.
GREAT upgrade by the way.Last edited by alpacaheat; February 16th, 2016 at 12:25 PM.

Re: SAO for pocket carry?
I am happy with my own SWBG, but I also haven't needed it yet. I'd like something with a little less trigger pull (this thing is SO heavy!) but until I have both the motivation and the money to make a change, my BodyGuard is with me all the time - loaded, chambered, and safety off, in a pocket holster and nothing ever goes in the same pocket with it.

Re: SAO for pocket carry?
I've heard great things about the Galloway short stroke trigger kit on the BG380. I've been looking at that for a deep conceal piece this week and the trigger pull talk has come up a lot. Sounds like a good $98 investment if you can find one in stock.

Re: SAO for pocket carry?
I carry a 938 cocked and locked inside the pocket frequently. The trigger pulls on these guns are heavy and with the thumb safety added, it's nothing to worry about with a basic pocket holster.

Ditch the pocket rocket idea. Well, at least the pocket part.
