Just a heads up for people who may have been interested in shooting at Manheim Sportsmen's indoor tactical shoots but were discouraged by the "lead ammo" only rule. Until the end of the year, fmj ammo will be allowed. They are doing this both as a durability test of their equipment and to encourage people to come to their events. www.manheimsportsmanassoc.org

The next shoots will be Oct 24th and Nov 28th with Dec TBD. In case you are not aware, registration is from 8-9:30 AM. A mandatory safety briefing at 9:45 and the fun begins at 10 AM. It's only $10. The course of fire consists of 4 stages. They have been starting to use the outside pistol range as a second staging area and it adds variety.

Equipment:

-Semi-auto or D.A. revolver
-.22 caliber up to .45 caliber sorry NO magnum calibers
-Expect to use 100 rds although it is usually less (always bring a little extra)
-Enough magazines/speed loaders to shoot 20-25 rds per stage
-thigh or hip holsters only (no shoulder or chest rigs for safety reasons)
-A magazine pouch is suggested but not mandatory

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me and we hope to see you at the next shoot!
