Nope. the only ground you can stand is in your home or place of work.

Re: stand your ground in PA ?
however, PA law does say you only have to retreat if you can do so "with complete safety".

Re: stand your ground in PA ?
Yes, you don't have to turn and be shot in the back, or allow yourself, family, friends,or an innocent third party(if you choose to defend them)
to be exposed to violence. Most all of us would have to have our backs to the wall before firing, but we still need a Castle Defense law.
It would absolutely prevent vampire relatives of Crack Head Bob, from suing you after his death, in that fire fight he lured you in to. Also, prevent you from being arrested. The burden of proof shifts to the Prosecutor. Florida has had such a law since 1995, and I don't see or hear debate about changing or repealing it.
We only need to use common sense. If you are alone or with your partner, your objective is to flee trouble, not exacerbate it. Some scuzz head insults and taunts you and those with you, and you have to decide what to do? Armed thugs in a robbery or other carnage, dealt with on a case by case basis. Don't announce your thoughts on that. I recall some poster at packing.org, writing
"If I clear leather, I'm firing" . Jeez, you just know that in a self defense trial, the Law will find that quote, and use it to hang you?
Well, I hope you or I prevail in any self defense situation we might be forced in to, but here is an example of what not to do. This poor man was a Dentist one day, and a felon the next. He lost his head, and kept firing as the crooks tried to flee, outside the house. Don't chase anybody, unless they are carrying away one of your loved ones,(you can get a new toaster...) and never shoot them in the back.
Here is his tale of woe, and it could be ours too?
