Default So what can you get for $69 Bucks these days?

How about a Rival No. 3 12 ga Double barrel!

Sure, it's a little worn, has a few scraps and dents...but that's what gives it character! It locks up tight and seems very solid! What more can you want for $69?

I have one of those, almost identical, except the stock rotted away and one of the hammers is missing.

I'll get around to fixing it one of these days...

Found it at Johnson's Gun Depot...I just happened to walk in as they were putting it on the shelf! Needless to say, it didn't make it to the shelf! LOL

I have to do some research on it...It takes regular 12 ga shells, but I don't know if modern shells have too much pressure for this old girl?

Hell, that's at least $69 worth of mantel-hanger, in my opinion. Finding out that you could actually fire it would be a mighty bonus.

It appears to be a Damascus bbl. I would find out for sure before I stuffed modern ammo in it. Heavy shot makes factory loads for laminated barrels.
