Recall: Remington .270 Winchester Ammunition

DO NOT USE REMINGTON 270 WIN. 150 GRAIN SOFT POINT (SP) AMMUNITION WITH LOT NUMBERS

N16SA24L, N16SA24R, N16SB24L, N16SB24R, N13SC24L, N13SC24R

Remington has determined that six (6) Lot Numbers of its 270 Win. 150 Gr Soft Point Ammunition may have been improperly loaded. The six (6) Lot Numbers are identified above. Improper loading may cause a malfunction of the cartridge when the firearm is fired resulting in higher than normal pressures. This malfunction may result in damage to the firearm, serious personal injury or death.

Magtech is recalling one (1) lot of 5.56 x 45mm Ball M193 centerfire ammunition.
Symbol: 556A
Lot Number: CBC 0141/18

WARNING: Magtech has determined the above lot of 5.56 x 45mm ammunition may contain incorrect powder charges. Ammunition with incorrect powder charges may cause firearm damage, rendering it inoperable, and subjecting the shooter and bystanders to a risk of serious personal injury or death.

DO NOT USE Magtech® 5.56 x 45mm Ball M193 SYMBOL 556A WITH LOT NUMBER CBC 0141/18. The ammunition Lot Number and Symbol are printed on the top flap of the 50-round box as indicated here.

To determine if your ammunition is subject to this notice, review the Symbol and Lot Number. If it is Symbol 556A with Lot Number CBC 0141/18, immediately discontinue use and contact Magtech toll-free at 800-466-7191. Magtech will arrange for the return shipment of your ammunition and upon receipt will send you replacement ammunition at no cost to you.

ACCURATE POWDERS RECALL:

Accurate has issued a recall for the following powders: 2495, 4064 and 4350 manufactured before October 1, 2016, 1 and 8 pound canisters.

2495 - lots 2 through 14
4064 - lots 2 through 16
4350 - lots 2 through 22

Call 406-234-0422 or email customerservice@westernpowders.com to get instructions on what to do to get a refund.

They state to fill the canister(s) with water which will render it inert and safe to dispose of. They will need a picture of the lot number to refund you.
