    Default Bedside Holster?

I was recently over my patient husbands shoulder while he was on a gun site and I noticed a holster for a bed it tucks into the mattress...My nightstand tends to be cluttered with alarm clock, glass of water,a picture, a book etc... Has anyone heard of this or even tried it?

There are several versions out there. I have no firsthand experience with any of them.

http://www.pillowholster.com/design.php (Interesting. Never saw that one before!)

There's another one that I can't seem to locate, but it consists of a long, flat "board" that slips between the mattress and box springs and the holster is attached to the part that hangs down on the side of the box springs.
I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

Yep. I have The Back-Up beside shotgun mount and love it. It was very easy to install as seen on their website. It doesn't require any screws/bolts and my gun doesn't get scratched/dinged up. If you are looking for a shotgun mount for your bed it is a must see.

Here is the link to the site: http://www.the-backup.com

I initially was looking for one that tucked into the mattress but when I came across this I new I had to have it! Its very grab and go. Its perfectly positioned and its never in the way. I too have clutter on my side of the room and this blackhawk quick disconnect keeps it out of reach of clutter but closer in reach than if on the nightstand or in the drawer or between the bedboards! I am very pleased with it!!

The best and most simple version I have seen is the BEDSIDE-BUDDY. You can see and buy it at BEDSIDE-BUDDY.com It conveniently holds a handgun ready for instant use concealed beside your mattress.

That's a pretty cool idea, where did you get a strong enough magnetic strip?

I like that back-up shotgun holder, might pick one of those up.

Not to go off topic but I design and build custom fixtures , furniture ,
( head boards , nite stands , etc , etc , and just about any application
to hide anything one could imagine. Should there be any interest, PM me.

As far as the bide side holster,I've built small his and hers nite stands for my wife and I.
