Default Ultimate limp wristing range report

Took the 14 year old daughter out today for the first time shooting. Showed her how to load and shoot and let her have at it while I kept the magazines loaded . . . LOL

XD-45 compact Tactical, first two magazines her thumb was resting by the slide lock and prevented it from locking back when empty, showed her the proper way to prevent this, never happened again. She shot 50 rounds and NO FAIL TO FEED OR EJECT . . . Yes, she is the ultimate limp wrister at about 120 pounds and 5'5" tall.

XD-9 Tactical, she shot probably 100 rounds through this gun, NO Problems whatsoever . . . .

S&W .40, (4006) She shot ONE 14 round magazine through this and didn't want to shoot it again . . . LOL but then again it weighs as much empty as a XD does loaded. She didn't appreciate the full metal pistol.

Next time maybe she'll get to shoot the Mosin Nagant

Hmmm... I want to, but I just can't.

All I can say is, get a .22.

I'll say it louder for ya.
    GET HER .22

You know interesting part of it is that most first time shooter almost always want light gun to shoot.

But to me, heavier gun is almost always easier to shoot if given same caliber.

My GF never liked to shoot my M&P(24oz. empty) because of sharp recoil. But she liked shooting Mtbkski's XD service, which weigh 28oz. empty.
Recoil is almost identical, and she was able to get better grip with M&P, but with heavier weight, it obsorve more recoil.

    Just something I've abserved...
