Default Collectors Armory...Why or why not?

I received a Collectors Armory catalog in the mail the other day and I gotta say, the replicas they sell are nice looking and affordable! I am tempted to buy a Kentucky Rifle replica for above the mantle, but what about their other replicas...why would someone buy some of these items? Would you be a wuss if you had a WWII M1911 replica in your collection? How about their Colt SAA replicas mounted to nice wall displays? I'm just curios on your opinions of Collectors Armory...good bad or indifferent!

Hanging a replica gun beats an Elvis plate.

    Non Firing guns are toys.

I only play with 'real' toys.

I would consider their line of 'firing' BP guns, but I'd need to see one first hand since their prices are not cheap.

I used to get that catalog when I was a kid. Always wanted one of their Samurai swords before I learned they were junk.

They used to have these super realistic model cap guns called blowbacks. You loaded a cap into a metal cartridge and the recoil cycled the gun. Loud and dangerous, I think they were discontinued and the manufacturers got into "airsoft".

If you want a replica then by all means get one. I think the STG-44 looks cool and I'll probably never even lay eyes on a real one.

I just looked at the site. $8 for ten blanks? WTF? Seriously, though, some of the prices were not far off from the real thing. Has anyone purchased one of these?
