Info on Del-ton
How is the quality on a Del-ton???? Also does it take a lot of knowledge to assemble a stripped lower if I buy an upper kit from them? Or does anyone know where I can find a better buy (online) currently???? Also what is the best mag?? A lot of guys here in AZ say Magpul. If so where is the best place to buy a bunch of these?
Thanks guys

Re: Info on Del-ton
I've shot a few deltons that have been good, with that said I have a few kits on order with them and still havent gotten them after ordering back in march.
I personally agree magpul mags are the best value out there, sure you can find some to disagree though. I believe brownells has them in stock

Re: Info on Del-ton
Not sure about the quality as Im still waiting for mine but the wait is 6-7+ months, not the 3-4 month wait as posted on their site. Aside form the long wait everyone who has ACTUALLY shot one really likes it and had no problems with theirs.

Re: Info on Del-ton
I have a DTI kit and I really like it. I went a little outside their normal build options and there was no extra charge for it, just had to pay for the upgraded parts.
They are slow, but they are a small company and really had trouble in the beginning of the year when everyone went nuts.
Is it worth the wait? That's for you to decide.
I would buy from them again.

Re: Info on Del-ton
I like my Del-Ton mid-length rifle. They have the best price around, and everything looks like solid components. I'm just glad I ordered mine about 4 days before the election, back when kits were shipping in about 10 days!
I've run 100 rnds through mine with no issues.
BTW, a drunk monkey can assemble an AR15 from any kit; it's that easy!

Re: Info on Del-ton
My Del-ton had a problem in that it would occasionally extract and eject but the empty case stayed in the receiver, jamming the next round.
Being an AR newby,it took me a couple weeks to figure out that it was the extractor and not my reloads.Del-Ton sent me a new one to replace the original.
Otherwise,the gun is excellent.
Delton is backordered and some guys have waited 8 months and still haven't got their uppers.
I handled a DPMS last week and it looks good also. The older I get,the better I used to be !!

Re: Info on Del-ton
i got my delton kits yesterday, right around the 5month mark. Haven't shot any yet and while they are no colts it doesn't seem like their quality has dropped even though they are getting nailed.
