    Default Glasses fogging up?

Alright, almost every time I go to shoot I have a problem with my glasses fogging up if its hot out. If I go prone, they fog up instantly and I cannot shoot more than one round without seeing the target. I tried contacts before, and they're too much a pain in the ass, plus I don't think my health plan covers them anymore, so thats a no-go. I've tried breathing out both my mouth and nose, same effect. Anyone have any suggestions?

I used to have a no-fog goggle spray when I played paintball. Seemed to work real well. Might be worth trying something to that effect.

    Soap.

I forget what kind works best, but I recall back in my paintball days, it was suggested to put a tiny amt. of soap on my lenses and "buff" it out.
There are commercial anti fog products that you could try as well.
If I remember, I'll bring some of the stuff I used for paintball to the group shoot and you can try it.

ROFL 2 paintball answers in the same moment But yeah I still have a bottle of (I think it's made from Hoppes) no-fog that came in a paintball cleaning kit.

You could try some anti-static and anti-fog wipes...

Something like those. Walmart or some other chain store probably sells a similar product.

A small amount of dawn dish washing liquid applied to the lenses and then rinsed off lightly could work. Or try pulling the glasses away from your face a little..lets the air circulate better. I had the same problem and pulling my glasses away from my face worked best...it also made me keep my chin up and sight better.

Most hard white soaps, Ivory for example, dove... trick is to polish the glasses til the soap is off them, works great on mirrors too. you dont need much of it.

Man you guys are smart. I'll try the soap next time I'm out, or just go on my nightly run, come home and dry fire, and see if they work then

I tried just pulling them away, but it took a while for all the fog to dissipate and even then it took only a few seconds for it to come right back. Had to take em all the way off to get it off too. I know I'm hot...but damn!

I take it paintballers get this problem a lot? lol
