Hopefully when an AWB/"normal" capacity magazine ban comes to the floor, we will have an opportunity to actually review the bill before the push to pass it.

By definition, an assault rifle must include, among other things, a select fire switch with automatic as one of the selections. To my knowledge, I know of no (out of the box) ARs that shoot automatic.
