Conspiracy theories aside, that was a very educational article. I am surprised that they were factual in the number of homicides by firearm and how that number has decreased in recent years, even though gun ownership and sales are up.

This contradicts the figures thrown out in the Sunday talk shows - you would think there were far more.

I hate to say it, but I've been thinking along those lines myself. How'd we ever go this far down the sewer? I'm no longer calling them Anti-Gun people/ politicians, they're now Anti-Americans.

I do have to admit - Regardless of their true opinion, even some anti's are saying taking gun away alone will not likely to stop the mass shooting, and that the mental health supports(in this case, clearly failed to intervine) also needs to be part of equation. And I think I even heard something in the area of Gun Free Zones are an open inventation to be a victim as the criminal element know there is no threat and do as he/she wishes from one speaker.

Only one I saw so far that is stubbernly believing in "Gun=Evil, hicap Clip=devil's pawn, Assualt rifle=no need, No gun=no crime" is pretty much just Dianne Feinstein.

I understand that no matter what they say or do, end result they are after is the same, but way they are saying this time alound is slightly different then the "OH no! mass shooting! Lets ban the guns!" mentality

At least I felt that way listening to all these poeple talk
