Just ordered one of these cans and thought the price wasn't too bad given current prices. Just wanted to share.

Re: AIM Surplus Federal .223 1000 rounds
That's a lot of money for plinking ammo. I bought 500 rounds of Zinc coated Steel cased ammo for around $132 plus got free shipping, so if I bought 1000 rounds of the stuff it would be around $265. I shot close to 300 rounds of the stuff through my Colt 6920 without one failure, check it out:

Brass cased ammo always costs more than steel, but you can reload brass or trade it in to some reloading companys.

Re: AIM Surplus Federal .223 1000 rounds
Its great ammo I really like it. Im just glad I bought what I did when I did. I run stell cased stuff threw my Spikes and Wesson and it loves it. Just may sit on the brass cased for a rainy day.

Re: AIM Surplus Federal .223 1000 rounds
I did a lot of research and found no proof that steel cased ammo does damage to firearms. I also ran several hundred steel cased rounds in both 9mm and 223 without issue. I also have no interest in reloading so that's a non issue to me.
Sanity, yours if you can keep it.....

Re: AIM Surplus Federal .223 1000 rounds
^^^^^ Ditto...my AKs, SKSs and M4 all love the crappy Bear or Wolf steel-cased ammo. Shoot the livin' crap out of it. No jams, misfeeds or dead ones. Plinkin' is for steel, in my mind. (Just keep (all of) your weapons CLEAN.)
That being said, I do have (a lot of) brass for a rainy day.USAF 77-79, SAC, DMAFB, 390 MIMS, Titan II Crew Chief
