Working on NJ, one gun owner at a time
It may not be much. I still have to work in NJ. I have been able to explain to some people I work with the need to protect themselves. There are now two new pistol owners in NJ. They had to endure 6+ weeks waiting for their "purchase permits". One joined a range, and the other is going to take firearms training before joining a range. Like I said - It may not be much. But I am too close to that border to not be concerned. More legal firearms owners over there the better.

Re: Working on NJ, one gun owner at a time
Thank you for taking the time to educate others about our firearm rights, especially in an anti-gun state. Even though it might not seem like a lot, each person helps. Each changed person is one less person likely to vote for anti-gun legislators and one more person likely to support pro-gun activities.

Tread carefully, a reluctanly reformed NJ gun owner can quickly turn into a "I only have one gun, nobody needs more than I do" gun owner ala the PA hunters who have NO use for semi-automatic anything, and would fully support ban of non-hunting rifles.
Still, keep up the good fight you done good

Camper, Thank you. I do tread lightly. They both requested two permits, and intend on using them. They seem to understand that a right not used is a right lost. And their families protection is foremost in their thoughts. I try to inform, not preach.
RM, Thanks. I am trying to do what I can to have people decide, not be compelled by argument. I wait for the chance for one/ both to come to PA and try a bit of freedom the we have. They may end up being a voice in PRNJ. Many people on this forum have informed me on our legal rights. Others have shown how the system works. I try to imform that YOU (they) are not the "accepted" citizen, because of their laws or system. I hope to have them understand their rights as US citizens. To me our Constitutional rights are TOO precious to give up.======Vrez

Good job Vrez. Now direct them to the NJ gun forum, which can help complete their transformation. LOL.
