WTT: M1 Garand, WW2 Spgfld Armory
Gone. Traded for a CAR-15. Thanks for the interest!
Have a DCM/CMP papered WW2 M1 Garand, Springfield Armory - the REAL DEAL US Govt S-A, not the modern commercial company making cast-receivered parts Garands with pretty lookin' wood.
Would like to trade FTF for an "XM177" clone or a "CAR-15" clone. That'd be; A2 upper, tele-stock, CAR handguards, "XM177-clone" for legal bbl length. Or CAR-15 length is OK.
Garand receiver and bolt are both Springfield Armory
The S/N on recvr is 304848X (Jan 44-Oct 45 range)
USGI wood has a cartouche of SA over GAW which is supposedly correct for recvr date
Barrel is VAR-proofed 9-60 (1960)
Have picx to e-mail on request along with taking as many more as wanted.
Be happy to trade ASAP, but will also be OK with carrying to the Washington Fair gunshow in a couple weeks to see what happens.
I am outside of Pittsburgh.
Thanks!
Steve
