Where on your belt do you carry?
pretend everyone's right handed, and if you're a lefty, mirror it....
Traditional, on the side? More front? More back? I tend to carry my Glock 19 left-handed on the small of my back, so I can reach back with my right, but I have a feeling some of you may flame me that having the gun all the way behind me may be dangerous...thoughts?Pittsburgh, PA
I also am a huge metalhead. PM if you wanna talk music.

Open Carry, 1911s:
Blackhawk SERPA - 3:00, no cant
Galco FLETCH: 3:30, that holster has a slight forward cant
Concealed Carry, Glock 26, for now, until I replace it with an officer's 1911:
Minotaur MTAC IWB - 4:00, pretty severe forward cant

Strongside, always, unless I'm hunting, then crossdraw.

Re: Where on your belt do you carry?
For OC (only at home for now) slightly behind 3:00. For CC (if the stinkin' LTCF ever comes through) I'll use small of the back, at about 5:00. I had a left handed leather holster years ago and a 1911 fit in there just fine. I prefer reaching behind with my thumb up, knuckles against my back. Just works for me.

Kahr MK9, with a Galco holster on the side, underneath a jacket, vest, or shirt is my standard mode (and sometimes pocket carry...preferably jacket or back pocket, though. I've come to the conclusion that it's just a shade too heavy for comfortable front pocket carry.)

Re: Where on your belt do you carry?
Strong side when on the hip, about 2o'clock. Ruger in a vertical Galco Minimalist, KT in a vertical MPI ITW, slung under my belt, over my pants.
FWIW, also carry shoulder with the Ruger, and sometimes off-body in a MaxPed with the KT.
CC...wait, who conceals?

Re: Where on your belt do you carry?
Taurus PT 24/7 PRO .45 ACP
---------------------------
OWB: Bianchi "Minimalist" belt-slide holster at 3:00 on right side.
IWB: Uncle Mike's Inside-The-Pants holster, 3:30-4:00 (depending on the shirt and my mood) on strong side.
EAA (Weirauch) Windicator .38 Spl. snub-nose: 3:00-3:30 OWB on strong side in a Bianchi "Black Widow" holster. I find this one too uncomfortable to IWB.
As far as "small of back" carry with a lefty holster: I've considered it, but find myself wondering how accessible it's going to be if I'm attacked and knocked to the ground and my attacker is directly on top of me. My other consideration as well is possible injury to my back or kidneys by if I'm knocked down or fall onto my back, so for these reasons I've decided against it.
