Guerilla Art in Los Angeles Overpass Brands President Obama as Socialist
President Obama is a lunatic. Or at least that's how one Los Angeles guerrilla street artist feels.
An unknown artist posted several posters in Los Angeles "mashing up" an image of Obama and Heath Ledger's Joker character from "The Dark Knight."
The Obama Joker poster, with the word "socialism" in bold, dark letters printed under the image of his face, has caused a stir on the Web and was linked prominently on the Drudge Report.

Obama Joker Poster Popping Up In Los Angeles
August 1, 2009 - 20:06 ET
Have you seen this poster?
Apparently, it's beginning to appear in odd places in Los Angeles, but nobody seems to know who's responsible for it.
Radio host Tammy Bruce posted some pictures of this odd creation at her blog Saturday morning (h/t Pamela Geller) leading me to investigate further.
At this point, all I could find on the subject was an April 25 article from Bedlam Magazine:
A poster of Barack Obama in Heath Ledger-style Joker make-up with the legend 'Socialism' beneath it has been popping up recently on surfaces around L.A. It does not appear to be in the same category as the many benign take-offs on the Shepard Fairey 'Hope' poster, such as the one by Australian James Lillis (more of a straightforward spoof that merely substituted a Shepardized image of Heath Ledger as Joker on the Obama poster).

my question is, does it come in a form of a t-shirt?

Re: Obama Joker Poster Causes Stir on Web
a member of another forum I frequent had this to say:
"A poster depicting Barack Obama as Batman villain The Joker has been called 'mean-spirited and dangerous' by the U.S. President's supporters."
Political satire and art, it would be called if it was a pic of Bush or any person who was or is a Republican.
Vanity Fair flashback to the bush days:
And how did President Bush behave when this was printed in the open press, (not some kid on the net, like the one of Obama??...Let them take arms

^--Absolutely, I'd be in for one.
The liberal tabloid "LA Weekly", which depicted George W. Bush, the former president, as Dracula on its cover in 2004, denounced the Obama-Joker poster as virulently racist.

To the Joker's credit, he was an anarchist... not a socialist.
Next question is... who is Batman in all of this?
