    Default took the ar for a drive

    i put about 60 rounds through her, all perfect it feels great.
    theonly thing is it seems to shoot a foot high no matter how i adjust the sights.

    Maybe you need to adjust the target... ...out another couple hundred yards. lol

    Distance?

    Remember that you move the rear sight the direction you want the bullets to go.

    Is this with your RDS or irons?

    i was shooting 50 yds i guess i need to shoot 100 or get a scope

    Even if you get a scope it's going to be zero'd for a certain distance. Learn how the gun shoots and adjust accordingly.

    i can hit what im aming at if i aim about a inch low,
    i think i might get a differnt fsb

    Where is your front sight mounted? (I'm assuming it's removable/flip sight)

    Make sure if it is on your handguard rails/ free float that you have a sight made for that and not one that goes on your gas block.

    It almost sounds like you are shooting with a sight made for your handguard rails on the gas block.

    He's got my last barrel, and I had an A1 upper....so the height was correct for the upper I had. CMP rifles etc though shawn for why people are still making them.

    You don't have to get a new FSB though, just get a taller front sight post
