    So PAFOA, in your opinions what do you think is THE most American gun. I have, IMO, what I think would be some prime candidates, but feel free to say otherwise or put something not on the poll.

    I voted 1911....torn between that and ma-duece, but both were John Moses Browning designs anyway.

    I almost voted Garand, but he was a Canadian, although the US benefited from his famous design, I struck him from consideration for that reason.
