That cop told investigators he thought someone was trying to break in and fired his gun through the front door.
So firing through a door is accepted procedure? Anyone want to take bets if the officer will be charged or not?

I hope they charge this cop. So if someone is banging on your door what gives you the right to shoot a gun thru the door. Lets say they were two little girls selling girl scout cookies. He should be fire for doing a stupid thing and also serve jail time.

Pleeeeeease... In PRNJ? Never gonna happen. Hell, I wouldn't doubt that they'll either A) claim that he was still on edge because of the Chris Dorner thing even tho it happened on the other side of the country or B) give him a medal for his diligence in attempting to prevent potential crime in PRNJ.

Either way, I'm sure that they'll use it to further why citizens shouldn't have guns. "If a trained police officer can make a mistake like this, imagine the blood flowing in the streets if everyone were armed! It would be a shootout at the Camden Corral!"

It is when Oscar Pistorius writes the procedure manual.

Male Newscaster: "a 21 year old autistic man who's apparent confusion could have led to the shooting"

WOW, talk about blaming the victim. Pisses me off when they use use wording such as this.

So, it seems AS IF MORE THAN ONE SHOT WAS FIRED TOO.??
