    Default OC Question????

I have been trying to look up the definiton of OC.. I have not applied for my permit just yet ( I do inten to do soon), But my question is: I wear button down shirts. What do I have to show of the firearm for it to OC? Do I just need to have a holster on the outside of my pants? Or does my shirt have to tucked into my pants? I do not like to wear my shirts tucked in.

I'm hardly an expert, but I would think that if any article of clothing even partially covers the handgun, it would be a big no-no.
(unless you have your CCW, then YOU'RE "covered!")

Just think of cops and cowboys(without dusters)...

The gun must be open for God and all to see. Its just generally safer to tuck your shirt in behind to make sure it stays uncovered(a point of concern for those without a LTCF).

the other way if you dont like things tucked in. Tuck your shirt behind the holster. I do this on occasion for when i'm making quick little trips.

You've obviously not met any forum members in person.
It is highly irresponsible to suggest such actions without regard to the potential for retinal damage to the public at large.

Good God, man. THINK before you speak!

Good One Emptymag. I guess most of us gun toting types aren't in the best shape huh.

If I don't have a shirt on, and my belly hangs over my pistol, hiding it, while carrying OC would this mean that I am technically carrying conceled now, or what.
The American Revolution would never have happened with gun control....

    HehHehHeh...

    That's a tough call.
May need input from an attorney on this one!
(And a nutritionist too, perhaps? )

I asked this one -- I think someone said (maybe it was Skuggi?) that if you have to ask, it isn't OC. Tuck the shirt! (Or just wait for your LTCF.) But don't give anyone an excuse to say that you're trying to hide it.
