Carry Ammo
What do you guys use and why.
I have been carrying my standard cheap FMJ fire every time with no issues. I carry a Kel Tec PF9 9mm and just picked some hornady critical defense to try there were a couple types of defense ammo at the store did not know wich way to go.

Re: Carry Ammo
If your Google-fu on this site is better than mine, you can find this discussed in at least three threads in the past six months. If you are in Easton, and the possibility even remotely exists that you might stray into the PRNJ, best advice is to NOT have hollow-points in your gun, magazine, on your person, in your car, and don't even think about hollowpoints. Better maybe, even be sure you don't have an old receipt in the litterbag in your car for having purchased any hollowpoints in Montana in the last century. On that side of the river they get really freaky about them, so these threads attest.

Re: Carry Ammo
Federal Hydra Skok in my 9mm, 40, 45ACP Why IMO there's no better. Though Remington does have a matching round that I'm sure is just as good. I've like the federal enough to have purchased 6 cases of each caliber for stock. I purchased it years before the Obama express & looots more at cheap prices compared to today. I got 223 & 5.56 12 cents a rd. All Federal All New.How you would like 1000 rds. for $120 bucks TODAY? O I STILL HAVE ABOUT 76,000 RDS LEFT of
9mm...40...45ACP...44 mag...223...5.56...308...7mm Mag & last 12ga..oops forgot 38 & 357 About 90% Federal then about 10% RemingtonLast edited by Ronnies111; April 23rd, 2010 at 11:00 PM.

Re: Carry Ammo
I can not decide so I carry two kinds for my 9mm. Speer Gold Dot 124 gr seem slightly more accurate In my mine than the Hornady Critical Defense 115 gr. After seeing the expansion test of I started to carry one mag of Hornady.
Mag in use Speer Gold Dot
One mag Hornady and one mag Speer in mag carrier on weakside.Last edited by B2Luv2Hunt; April 24th, 2010 at 03:46 AM.
