Waterville Maine, Police Chief with the right attitude
Waterville, Maine is generally a quiet safe town but even there crime exists
"Waterville police chief Joe Massey says the assault and rape of a 73-year-old city woman on Sunday makes a good case for why citizens should arm themselves as a defense against crime...."
As usual, the comments are pretty interesting. Maine has a big liberal/conservative divide with Portland vs. the rest of the state.

Re: Waterville Maine, Police Chief with the right attitude
Waterville is a nice town, spent a lot of time there in my youth.
You're right about Portland. The old joke-
"I only left Maine twice last year- once to go to Boston and once to go to Portland."
