Default Iowa school board will allow staff to carry on campus

There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.

    It's about time.
I wonder how long it will take before common sense takes over and this becomes commonplace.

Common sense gun safety. If it saves just one child.
Sticks and stones will break my bones but hollow points expand on impact.

I mentioned in another thread back in November that I ran into one of our school district's security officers in a local store. He was open carrying a Glock and wearing a School Security Officer jacket, I spoke with him, thanked him for his service and found out that every school in our district has atleast one armed security officer present during all school hours.

    Thumbs up!

It is sad that it has gotten to this point and all they do is blame the gun. I have yet to hear of a study as to why society is deteriorating the way it is. We all know that soft on crime is part of the problem but I believe that there is much more to it.

Why is society deteriorating the way it is....

Because it is either accepting or ignoring the many obvious absurdities.

One big reason is because the mental health portion of health care in this country is abysmal. Nothing's going to change until that gets fixed
