    Default How Many Classified Ads?

Is there a limit to how many classifieds a member can post or bump in one day?

I thought I recalled a discussion about that, but can't find anything.

Are ten in one day permitted?

I don't recall any sort of limit.
And I have no idea why anyone would care.

If I have ten items for sale, I'm not going to post them up on different days and then have to make a chart to remember which listing I can bump on which week.
Post all ten. Bump all ten.
I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

And if they don't sell for ten months, bump them more often.

Like items should all be within a single ad. Five pistols = one add saying handguns for sale, not five separate ads. Golf clubs, Who cares about each individual club, place an ad that says golf clubs for sale.

With zero posts outside of the classifieds.

I think the spirit of the classifieds though is to not have one person with the top ten ads. Many of the other forums I visit only allow 3 per day.

No one knows that because that is classified information.

That's a bullshit rule. Nobody is going to look at "Handguns for Sale" vs seeing the type of handgun for sale.

And then people wonder why an ad gets bumped so many times - let's make it more difficult to make a sale by making it a generic ad that nobody is going to click on.

Anyway, next to pitbull threads, people whining about the absolute horror of seeing classified ads bumped is my next favorite topic on here.

Well, yes, I only said handguns generically for the sake of brevity. You could post the make and model in the thread title, like thousands of ads already do.
