Imagine what firearms tech would look like if all these talented inventors and engineers could spend their time developing new stuff instead of having to find ways to get around the ATF's tyranny.

Its a bumpfire trigger kind of, you have to learn it. Then again I knew this would happen before I bought one.

I'm still going to get one if they aren't a ton of money..

Not sure what you consider a ton of money, but someone was selling 2 in the classifieds this morning for $325 each.

I mean when they get banned they usually sell for quadruple the original cost. I'm tapped out.
Just bought a pizza oven, spent 2500 on my work truck, 3k on my play truck, and looking for
a new work truck. And work sucks.

If you do buy one make sure you pay cash. I am sure Rare Breed will surrender their customer list and everyone will eventually get a visit from they feds.

This might be a good thing though. You hand over your trigger and you are in the clear (just out a few $$"s). If they find it later you will be charged with an illegal machinegun and you will be paying much more. And kiss your firearms goodby.

I have a friend that lives within a half hour of here. Thinking about asking him to go buy one for me in cash to avoid shipping paperwork...

He better be a very good friend who won't cave when they turn the screws questioning him.

If you have to get one I was thinking some distributor at a gunshow for cash. But AFAIK they don't have distributors that are not traceable with online sales with credit cards. Was this a setup from the beginning?

If they get banned like the bump stock you can't legally manufacture, possess, buy, sell, or transfer them. Selling one on the black market you have to worry about the buyer being an informant, undercover cop; federal, state, or local. In addition even if the buyer is not one of the aforementioned; if the buyer gets caught with, who is to say he might turn you in just to get charges reduced.

Nice. A courteous and professional "no". Let's see how much they want to push this.
