While I dislike "punk kids" as much as the next guy, I believe this cop really over-stepped his bounds on this one. What the hell was with tackling the kid to the ground?? What the hell was with telling the kid he better change his attitude or someone is going to kill him?? The only thing this cop accomplished was further solidifying the notion that cops are power hungry and "dirty" and don't deserve the respect that he so aggressively demanded.

Golly, how disappointing...it is quite obvious to me, this man needs a little less caffiene, and a little more fiber in his diet, that way the shit would be coming out of his ass instead of his mouth. Just my opinion.......

Actually I think he learned the opposite. Adults, particularly those in a position of authority that act like idiots such as this "officer" did, only give kids a reason to not respect the police.

The officer did the position a huge disservice.

Did you guys pay close attention to the last few seconds of the video where the officer says "is that camera on? because if I find myself on that camera..." He knew damn well what he was doing was wrong, and he could get in trouble for it.

If I had to work every god-damn day dressed in a tight bumble-bee t-shirt, and ride around in a glorified golf-cart, I'd be taking out my stress on random punk kids as well.
