Why do you like guns?
I've been wondering what makes us different from the masses of anti gun grabbing liberals out there...so I came up with this little poll to try to put a finger on what makes us tick...feel free to discuss your reasons. Each choice is somewhat loaded and I don't want to create a massive Poop Storm! But I would like to hear some honest opinions...

I didn't see the choice for my primary reason: "for hunting/recreation reasons" which I am sure is a major reason for a number of people. I do use mine for self defense, but the majority of my firearms are for hunting.

Had to go with protection...the obvious choice.
Hunting is another reason.
The major reason is because it is woven into the fabric of who I am, it's a long standing family tradition.
