How many have had organized club shoots postponed due to ammo shortages.

What kind of ammo are you looking for? Try here:
http://gun-deals.com/ammo
If these are people that only buy a box at a time perhaps you can organize a group buy of a few cases in different calibers/gauges.

We haven't postponed anything at Lewistown Pistol Club. Numbers so far have been encouraging. We had an IDPA classifier in March that had a good turnout, our April Ruger Rimfire match had the highest turnout so far this year (double what we were getting in the cold months), and our first sanctioned IDPA match of the year has 94 registered competitors.

I think it is a mixed bag.
I am going to make a generalization here, so stereotype alert: The folks that shoot regularly at IDPA, USPA, steel challenge, even trap, skeet and clays do not buy commercially manufactured ammunition. So I think the "regulars" are all going to keep going to these types of shoots.
Nobody reloads .22lr, though, so I do not know what is going to happen to upcoming Appleseed programs. You need a lot of rounds for one of those classes, and I do not see stacks of 525 round bulk boxes at Walmart.

Re: ammo shortage effect on club shoots
"Deal" is a relative term these days so anything coming close to being a decent price only lasts minutes, in some cases maybe hours. There's plenty of good deals that are put up, they just don't last. Most of what you're seeing on the site is what people are not buying in mass waiting for the lower priced stuff.

I am worried about getting ammo for the high school rifle team for next season.
