Thumbs up Hit-and-run driver shot by carjacking victim, tased by police

    https://www.nationalgunrights.org/pr...t-and-run-shot

Early morning traffic in Atlanta descended into chaos when one driver went berserk, deliberately colliding with multiple vehicles in at least eight hit-and-runs.

Police responded by blocking off streets and struck up a high-speed chase after the driver.

They were right behind the suspect at a stoplight, when the suspect got out of his car and attempted to carjack the vehicle in front of him.

The suspect yanked open his victims’ car door, ordered the occupants to leave, and then began tussling with the victim in the driver’s seat.

But a passenger in the car was armed and ready – and pulled out his weapon and shot him.

At that point, authorities were able to arrest the suspect.

    Local news reports:

Early Thursday, traffic in Midtown came to a halt.

Slowly, Atlanta police released details of what led to the shutdown in one of city’s most heavily-traveled areas:

    • A black Hummer was involved in at least eight hit-and-runs.
    • With cops on his tail, the driver got out of the Hummer and attempted to carjack a white Porsche stopped at Spring and 16th streets.
    • A passenger in the Porsche pulled out a gun and shot him.
    • Police used a Taser on the man.

The chaotic sequence ended before 11 a.m., and traffic returned to normal, police said.
By late afternoon, authorities still had not released the name of the Hummer driver, the charges against him and what led him on the bizarre course of events.
All they said was the wild morning started in some part of Buckhead. Between there and Midtown, the Hummer struck multiple vehicles without stopping.

Police in the area got behind the man at the intersection of Spring and 16th streets. The Porsche was stopped at the traffic light, police said.

The driver got out of the Hummer, demanded the people leave the Porsche, opened the door and “got into a tussle” with the driver, Hannah said.

The passenger in the Porsche shot him as he opened the driver’s door, according to police. The bullet struck the man in the stomach.

“At that time,” Hannah said, “the subject was detained and placed under arrest and transported to Grady [Memorial Hospital].”

The man was alert when he was taken to the hospital, he said.

Eh,don't try to fuck with my Porsche bro...It's great that the passenger was able to shoot the jacker in the stomach.Hopefully he eventually dies from the wound or at least winds up shitting into a bag for the remainder of his useless life.

I wonder what he was shot with, since he then still had to be Tasered?
