    Default So.....here's to ADD

Well, I went to the range today to have them order a DPMS Panther Lite 16. Guy behind the counter took one look at the printout, and told me that it'd be 6-8 weeks at a minimum before it'd be availible, and more like 3 months. However, he reminded me that there was a gun show at the Dulles Expo Center, just down the road. I walk in, and 3 hours later left with some purchases:

Just out of interest, how much did you pay for the stripped lower?

Ok, price for the DPMS stripped lower was $179 (there were only a couple guys selling lowers on Saturday, might have gotten a better deal if I could have made it on Friday)

The upper was $510 total, with the bolt carrier and charging handle. It's a chromed 16 inch 1:7 twist, rated for 5.56(made sure of that). Also made sure that the barrel was threaded so I could stick a YHM Phantom on the end of it later on.

Looks sweet. That M4 profile barrel is sexeh

I can't get the selector switch on the 3 rifles I have handy to stay in the position in your pix, however.

I have both family and long-time family friends that live near you.

EDIT: Forgot, who made the upper? Barrel and also who actually put it together.

Mine will sit there assuming the hammer is released / gun empty.

    Possibly a DPMS thing?
