Black Powder .44 cal (.454)
Trade for .22 pistol, semi-auto rifle, or shotgun...send any offers including cash offers by PM.
1858 Texas Buffalo' brass frame single action black powder revolver in .44 calibre. Two piece European walnut grips. Brass frame. Barrel is blued, 12" tapered octagon -.705 at breech to .680" at muzzle. Button rifled .005" deep. 1 in 32" twist. 7 lands - .440 and 7 grooves - .450. Front sight is blued steel stud mounted blade. Rear sight is V notch in topstrap. Six shot - .445 chamber diameter. Brass triggerguard, color casehardedned hammer. 17 1/2" overall diameter and weighs close to 3 pounds.
These guns usually get a bad rap because the front sights are off or the barrel is screwed on wrong (like the ones cabellas sells for discounted prices), but no not this one. This is one of the earlier models that did not encounter the flaw. The gun is in perfect shape and can fire perfectly with great accuracy even at 50 yards! Ran 23 grain black powder alternative with .451 or .454 lead ball and #11 primer. The gun will load up to 33 grain safely.
Along with the weapon will include 3/4 pound powder, 150+balls (137 grain), supergun lube, cleaning spray, cleaning kit, nipple remover/nipple cleaner, brass powder flask, brass powder measurer (5-130 grains), brass and wood ball starter. Just need some #11 primers and you can be at the range same day, I will include 10 or so, the ones I have left.
Since this is a cap and ball revolver weapon [antique](no FFL transfer is required) 18+
