Default So...my birthday is on saturday

And Midway gives you a bonus birthday discount, so I figured I'd buy a few of the reloading items I need to get started.

I decided to buy the manual first and read through it to go further on what I already know. They have a bundle single stage press with the latest rev of modern reloading that I decided to get.

Im not sure what press type I want, but I decided that I would dedicate the "freebie" single stage press to depriming (for now) since I have a lot of brass already. So I added in the appropriate shell holder and universal depriming/decapping die.

I figure I can deprime what I have so that when Im ready to go further with buying the tumbler etc I've already got deprimed brass. I just need to confirm the order with the boss

If you really want to start cheap, and just want to de-cap brass first, get the Lee Hand press through Midway part # 410-804 $24.49, and a Lee universal depriming and de-capping die Part # 136-543 $8.99, and the shell holder for what ever brass your depriming.
It's a cheap way to get that done, and, all you need to do is add the regular dies later if you want to do it without a bench press.
You can sit in your recliner in front of the TV and deprime all night, and, later, after you move up, you have a handy loader to take to the range with you for on-the-spot changes.
Midway will sell all the shell holders seperate from die sets also, for about $3-$4.
    Just a suggestion.

PS, If you do this, and de-prime in the recliner, always remember to lay a towel in your lap.
My wife used to really get ticked when she would run over a used primer with the Hoover.
They really make a racket in the turbo-brush.

Invitation is still open any time to see my setup. Might just cure you of the single stage desire.

I do want a hand press though...
