Why Did I Buy Diapers?

Okay, so I opened myself up with that one however I was organizing my cleaning supplies/reloading bench and I found a brand new pack of cotton diapers, the good ones, not the cheapies.

I assume I bought them for cleaning however why would I buy specifically the good ones all cotton? I must have read it somewhere that they are good for something other than babies bottoms.

cotton cloth diapers? very soft cleaning and wiping cloths or to protect wood items when on the bench maybe?
if i didn't use old shirts and stuff, thats what i'd have to protect, clean and wipe items.

Yeah, likely to clean with but there must be something special I am cleaning as I have plenty of rags. I confuse myself lately.
