help ID a barrel

ok a friend of mine has a box of these barrels, he was told they were gor a gattling gun a old friend once had, and gave him the batters, 10 of them, there all Stainless steel,
28 inch AOL, .323 bore dia. and a little over an inch out side dia of batter
bore is 60% and rifled!
has a 5 sided octagon design on the end of barrel too<
any idea on what they might have been for< here is one!
they have a marking on the chamber end that
an "8"
and then below it, a "P"
and below that an "A" that has like sword handles on the bottom of the A and then thru the top straight down thru the "A"

The barrel in your photo does look similar to a Gatling gun barrel but the bore diameter has me puzzled. The US Army adopted Gatling guns in several calibers, including .42 caliber, .45-70, .50 caliber, 1 inch, and (M1893 and later) .30 Army, with conversions of M1900 weapons to .30-03 and .30-06. The .45-70 caliber guns were also mounted on some US Navy ships of the 1880s and 1890s.

This is an 1874 Colt Gatling gun. You can see similar barrel contours in the photo. It is possible your barrels are from a smaller scale reproduction. This is just a guess on my part. Someone on here will have better details.

and YES< the old owner had a few million dollars and I mean Million in old guns,
he had a Colt original Gatling gun, that my friend said they were out shooting and he had a complete set of 10 extra barrels for it, and when his friend left he left the barrels behind
and never came back for them 15+ yrs now, they sat in his garage!

any idea on what they might be worth>
the best of them is the one in the pic' the rest have a lot more surface rust on them>
he is trying to figure out what exact model there maybe from so he can try and find them a new home
but I am gathering that gun in the pic is what he had?
I will show my friend that pic and see what he says!

and any more info would be greatly appreciated!

thanks, I might just do that, thanks for the suggestion
as I am not very versed with this older stuff, I did find some that are like shape for sale , but of different gun, for about 200-400 each? but again these are different than what he has, these are 32 inches long and his are 28< and other things, but MAYBE ball part idea at least??
