Default AR 15 Enidine Hydraulic Buffer?

    http://www.optactical.com/arrestor.html

Anybody own one of these? A friend of mine wants to order one for his gun, but I can't seem to find many decent reviews and I know nothing about this buffer. Full auto reviews would be helpful as I think he wants this for his issue gun not personal gun. Thanks

I understand the principal behind it and would assume it should reduce recoil alot, but then again just like the polymer ammunition, whats good in theory doesn't always turn out right.

I would pass on them unless you are running FA.

Sound Advice and even then there's not that much recoil to justify replacing tried & true parts with ones that are basically untested and un-needed.

Save your $$$ for ammo instead.
