Default Should I be ashamed to admit I like this?????

    -

It doesn't matter regardless cuz I still like it anyway.

I totally dig the aged finish. It reminds me of a Big Bore Gary Reeder 'BACKPACKER' custom I saw in a magazine a few years back.

Ashamed? HELL NO! Birdshead grips on a Vaquero or Rodeo would be and awesome setup. Come to really dark side known as single action six shooters.

It's the short barrel and finish that strikes me.

And...edit to my OP - It reminds me of the Gary Reeder 'BACKPACKER'

Funny you posted this today. When I came into to surf the net, I mean work, I was eyeing up something like this for a next purchase. Maybe even something like a Ruger Blackhawk in 45 Colt.

Prolly about 2 years ago I passed up a 3" US Firearms 45 Colt for $600. With a birdshead grip it would've been really neat. The only thing I didn't like was the lack of an ejector rod.

High on my list though is a 3 1/2 -4 inch with birdshead grip and an ejector rod in 45 or 44 Special. I just want it to say Colt, Ruger or US Firearms on the frame.
