There's one on Cider Press that is $45 a year. VERY nice range, especially if you're a competitor. The only thing that gets to me about that one is that you HAVE to be a member of the NRA. Personally, I am a member and a NRA certified instructor but I don't like not having a choice in the matter.

As is it just works out for me that the other range suits me due to distance and I must say, the price is right! lol

To each their own...but it is nice that for $65 a year you can join both and have options.

The only thing that gets to me about that one is that you HAVE to be a member of the NRA.

Blame the NRA, not the club. That mandate is imposed by the NRA in order for the club to be able to be NRA 'affiliated' and hold sanctioned matches.

I took a ride by the Micheaux Range today and noticed it was still closed. I thought it was to be reopened this year for a 3 year trial period. The Public Opinion article link in this thread is expired. Anybody have an update?

Also...I put in a new member application with Chambersburg Pistol and Rifle Club and unfortunately they reached their membership max back in February.

With letters for and against the opening.
I stoped waiting and joined another club.

Frontier County Gun Club on the other side of Chambersburg may have openings.
