The Scary Black Rifle
Does anyone know where the Black Rifle is hiding?
Now that the "ban panic" is over and done with we can get back to normal...well maybe not with ammo but with the "Military type weapons" we should. My poor friend bought two Bushmasters during the insanity back a couple months ago and is trying to get the $1500 he paid for one of them and is keeping the other. I told him I'll give him $800 for it (NIB-never been fired). On second thought I don't want a Shrubmaster, I want a Colt LE or something nice. Anyone know if Ace has had any lately, I haven't been there in awhile? ThanksLast edited by EagleEye; April 27th, 2013 at 08:26 PM.

Check Ace regularly. You'll find one for a good price.

Re: The Scary Black Rifle
I was in Ace's the other day to pick up two new guns. They had a whole bunch of sub-$1000, around $1000, and around $1500 black rifles. Look behind the gun smiths booth.

Re: The Scary Black Rifle
I've been seeing some of those "scary black rifles" around all sorts of gun stores, however I have also seen them sporting some "scary high price tags" to go with them.
Good thing I'm not looking for one.Tomorrow's battle is won during today's practice.

Re: The Scary Black Rifle
uhh yeah sucks to be your buddy. Remember when Beanie babies were some ridiculous prices? like 40$ for some bullshit color or other? its like that. My wife has about 4 AR15's worth of freaking breaniebabies in the attic she paid $40 for back in the day. Guess what? they're going for $4. Every time I see some idiotic beaniebaby I KNOW she paid $40 for and now is selling for $4 I grab it and shove it in her face and tell her she can have it for $50 or equivalent ammo in trade.
I refuse to fall in to panic or trend buying. All the signs were there in 2008.
But the shops have had to pay premium prices too for their current stock, like idiots, and now they try and keep the prices jacked up in order to recoup their losses.Derrion Albert was my Hero.

Stonybrook Shooters in York had a handful of LE6920s with all Magpul furniture, sights, and mag both in black and FDE for $1500. They also had the non Magpul LE6920s for $1200 and the 6900 barebones for $1000.

Re: The Scary Black Rifle
The last time I was in there the walls were bare. They had a list of people waiting for an AR that they said they wouldn't be able to fill this year! I guess they filled that list otherwise the ones you said were on the shelves would go to fill orders. That is good news thanks!
