Glock 37,38,39 will be the comeback kid
I guess the 45 gap Glock 37 will be the choice of carry or a Glock 38,39 if laws pass on ban semi auto pistols that can hold more then ten round's.
I am sure those models will be hard to get.

I've considered the GAP. Almost wish I would have got one instead of the 5.7 How similar is it to 45acp? I don't much care what opinion is as far as rare, obsolete or it being an answer to an unasked question. I carried aDelta Elite when everyone jumped on the 40. When I do find one it's usually over priced. Not really I guess but I'm not in to paying the same for something no one else seems to want. Probably fucked up thinking on my part. I'll probably get one after I get the 5.7 off lay away.

Re: Glock 37,38,39 will be the comeback kid
45 gap smaller brass case then a 45acp same stopping power I think. Less recoil like shooting a 9mm. Ammo at the time is high not sure what the price for ammo is today. I was able to get a good deal on 500rds a year ago so I have been using what I have. Ammo for your 5.7 is even harder to get. If you do find it your going to pay close to $50 a box of 50rds. good luck

Yep the 5.7 was I wanted to grab it in case something happened and it ended up on a ban list. So yeah I'll be looking for a 38 GAP shortly.

Re: Glock 37,38,39 will be the comeback kid
My thoughts on the 45 GAP are that it comes in a mid sized platform that is end user repairable and maintainable.
I love the 1911 platform. Own eight of them. But I do not possess the skill to hand fit replacement parts or any of the specialized tools, jigs and fixtures to do so. OTOH Glocks are stupid simple to work on and repair and replacements parts are dirt cheap (unlike quality 1911 parts).
The fact that modern powders are such that they don't completely fill the .45 ACP case tells you that it is actually an inefficient cartridge (strictly in terms of case capacity).
I scoffed at the .45 GAP when it was first introduced but the more I thought about it, the more sense it made. I think it's a cartridge ahead of its time.
I also contacted a friend on the PSP and he reports no engineering changes or recalls and the cartridge is killing BG's like nobody's business. If not for the price point of factory ammo, what's not to like?

You all to realise that most likely if they do pass a law banning pistols that CAN hold more then 10 rounds it will effect those pistols including 1911's correct? They offer 11 round optional mags for the Glock models 37,38, and 39
