I read Faber regularly for his financial/investing news, but the point of this article really struck me: When the gummint's economic indicators are LIES, what do the secondary economic indicators REALLY tell us about the economy?
"Buy a gun," as an economic indicator... hmmm...
I think that means...

For what it's worth. I have a gunshop and many of you see me at alot of shows. Neither my business associates nor myself have seen said "spike" in sales. Sales have been running roughly at the level before the Az. shootings.

I know trends are trends. Unfortunately this "trend" seems to hit every time a story hits the news of "national impact".
My only hope is that this is not just current gun owners but, many potential new ones. Hopefully ones that will stand behind their rights and vote accordingly. Also, get a little more involved in preserving said rights.
But, in the end it is just a trend. We will more than likely see these impulse bought guns in the local shops in a few months.
