Re: Lawrence O'Donnell (MSNBC) Calls for Gun Restrictions
O'Donnell is a textbook example of a Leftie with anger management issues, who naturally believes that if he has barely-controlled murderous impulses, then the little people acting as extras in his egocentric universe must be even worse.
The Left refuses to admit that nearly all of their policies are based on projection, and stem from their own immature personalities and the various issues (real or perceived) stemming from their dysfunctional families.
It's not a coincidence that Hollywood and NYC libs assume that the rest of us are crazy; all of them and all of their friends are dangerously nuts. If they could handle the stress of traffic themselves, they wouldn't repeatedly spout their assumption that if "just anyone" could carry a gun, then every fender-bender, and every dispute over parking spaces, and every time someone used the Express Lane with 15 items instead of 10, would end in gunfire and bloodshed.
Believe it or not, there are some of us in the vast wasteland between NYC and Hollywood who go weeks at a time without feeling the urge to kill someone.
Here's video from O'Donnell's meltdown on live TV, when he knew that cameras were rolling...look at Part 1, starting around 2:25, for an angry, angry man who clearly shouldn't be allowed to own guns or be in a room with women or children without supervision:

Re: Lawrence O'Donnell (MSNBC) Calls for Gun Restrictions
O'Donnell has taken over for Olbermann on Countdown. It's not the first time he has lost it on air and shouted red faced at a guest. (check out this one with an Arizona Congressman last week http://deskofbrian.com/2011/01/msnbc...-the-magazine/ Talk about lack of civility...) I saw his rant live while switching from O'Reilly who was in a commercial. It was similar to the tirade he threw on Morning Joe (link above) but this time he kept his temper in check. O'Donnell is a self proclaimed Socialist who admits he looks with amusement at liberals for being too far right.
I would not worry about him since MSNBC ranks 28th on the list of cable networks (by viewers). And I predict further lineup changes pursuant to the Comcast takeover of NBC.Last edited by Coops; January 25th, 2011 at 01:55 AM.

This ass clown is a self proclaimed socialist that thinks he is smarter than us stupid yoakles and that he and his progessive friends in the media and big government have all the answers to how WE should live while excluding themselves from the rules and restrictions. F-U.
A Republic, if you can keep it.

Re: Lawrence O'Donnell (MSNBC) Calls for Gun Restrictions
I do not like this at all.. This could be a first shot fired across the bow..(A prelude of things to come...) There have been some alternative media sites saying that Obama will have a few lines in his speech tonight about Bringing back Firearm restrictions.. We shall soon see...

Re: Lawrence O'Donnell (MSNBC) Calls for Gun Restrictions
What is MSNBC, some sort of public broadcasting channel where guys in their underwear pay $10 for airtime?
Seriously, who watches that stuff?
With the Repubs controlling the House and with 20+ Dems in the Senate up for re-election next year, (with the fresh memory of their previous trouncing in their heads) I has serious doubts that any anti-(insert evil device here) bills will get any traction in the gubmint.

Re: Lawrence O'Donnell (MSNBC) Calls for Gun Restrictions
Unfortunately this story still has some traction.. Whp am 580 radio personality Bob Dergan covered this story today on the beginning of his radio program...It seems that MSNBC host Chris Matthews commented on Obama's need for gun control legislation..He had a source inside the Obama camp tell him that the president would not cover any Gun control legislation in his state of the union speech (as previously reported)...But rather he will hold a special News Conference in upcoming weeks that will deal Directly with this issue..(Which he will use to make an announcement proposing New gun Control Legislation....)

Re: Lawrence O'Donnell (MSNBC) Calls for Gun Restrictions
You do realize that Ed Rendell has just been hired by MSNBC/NBC to give special political cometary.. Which he did after the presidents State Of the Union Speech...Saying it was a good speech but he should have brought up the needed changes in our Firearms Legislation...
