Cliffs - the Obama Administration bypasses the confirmation process to hire a person with serious judgment issues about what constitutes protecting kids in our schools.


First, a bit of background. Back in 1997 Kevin Jennings said the following:

"One of the people that’s always inspired me is Harry Hay, who started the first ongoing gay rights groups in America. In 1948, he tried to get people to join the Mattachine Society [the first American homosexual “rights” group]. It took him two years to find one other person who would join. Well, [in] 1993, Harry Hay marched with a million people in Washington, who thought he had a good idea 40 years before."


However -

"In his own determined, often irritating, manner, Harry Hay resisted becoming a model homosexual hero. Nowhere was this more evident than in Hay’s persistent support of NAMBLA’s right to march in gay-pride parades. In 1994, he refused to march with the official parade commemorating the Stonewall riots in New York because it refused NAMBLA a place in the event. Instead, he joined a competing march, dubbed The Spirit of Stonewall, which included NAMBLA as well as many of the original Gay Liberation Front members. "



So if one can disregard Harry Hay's well-known support for NAMBLA then one is also capable of ignoring a cry for help from a victim of pederasty.

Which is what Kevin Jennings did.

In this one case in which Mr. Jennings had a real chance to protect a young boy from a sexual predator, he not only failed to do what the law required but actually encouraged the relationship.

According to Mr. Jennings' own description in a new audiotape discovered by Fox News, the 15-year-old boy met the "older man" in a "bus station bathroom" and was taken to the older man's home that night. When some details about the case became public, Mr. Jennings threatened to sue another teacher who called his failure to report the statutory rape "unethical." Mr. Jennings' defenders asserted that there was no evidence that he was aware the student had sex with the older man.


BHO is giving the Bush 43 administration a run for the money when it comes to hiring incompetent people to run things.

Actually, he seems to hire less competent people than Bush 43, and that's saying something.
