    Nice!

I got a 550B and couldn't be happier! Well worth every penny.

Infact, I have only 2 complaints about the entire system.

Changing from small primer to large primer takes to long (5 - 10mins?), and the auto-powder charger is a little to loose depending on the powder for true +/- .1gr loads. With some powder, its damn near perfect, but with others it seems to struggle (Stick). So for my true shooting loads, I charge them using my RCBS Powder Dispensing system (Dispenser and Scale (ChargeMaster))

Regardless the thing is badass and built like a brick shit house

You are going to like the SDB. All it does is crank out pistol ammo. Now the hard part. Got primers?

Got my SDB tonight and set it up. It was a bit more than put it together and go but i think it should good. I set up the powder measure and the bullet seating die according to other rounds i have made with my friends SDB. I am glad i got the digital calipers. I will run the rounds through my gun tomorrow night.

    reichebrown,

fr0sty makes has two valid criticisms of sdb's and i have one... large to small primer changeover could be easier and very fine powders like h110 can escape between the slider and housing of the powder measure...

fr0sty's are easier to rectify: buy another sdb for the other primer size and use fatter(?) powders like 2400, unique, etc.

my criticism is harder to fix; conversions are expensive...20 years ago they cost lots less.

no matter what, you have a primo tool and a company that will take care of you...i had a complaint about a 20 yr. old unit's shell holder and powder measure. called them...new parts that cured the problem were forwarded to me at no cost within a week...good, knowledgeable folks at dillon.
