attending a wedding
I know...really short notice.
I'm attending a wedding...INSIDE Citizens Bank Park. On home plate to be exact. Apparently, these folks are huge Phillies fans. Ceremony is on field...the reception to follow in the PHillies Diamond Club.
Since there is no game, I really doubt there will be any type of wanding going on at the entrance (Suite and Club Entrance). The thing is, I have no intentions of wearing a jacket to this thing. I've worn a jacket one time in my adult life...to my MIL's funeral.
I don't have one of those fancy tuckable holsters...
Think I can fit my S&W 3913 into my boot?
I suppose I could pocket carry my Raven .25...but really?
While this post is half a joke...the other half really is looking for any suggestions. Short of leaving it in the car which i may wind up doing.
ETA: or there is this:
SECURITY
Additional security may be required for certain events at The Phillies' discretion. Supplemental staffing charges will apply. No weapons are permitted in the Ballpark unless carried by an on duty Philadelphia police officer or otherwise expressly approved by The Phillies. Anyone bringing a weapon to the Ballpark must check the weapon in at the Ballpark Command Center, even if the individual is licensed to carry the weapon.Last edited by mrjam2jab; September 3rd, 2011 at 11:53 AM.

What other guns do you have, I used to pocket carry my Kahr CW9 inside an Uncle Mikes sidekick, of course I'm a big guy with big pockets.
That said a .25 is better than nothing at all.

Re: attending a wedding
wound up taking the 9 and leaving it in car. They had a security guard stationed in the parking lot for the event.
Item of note...look who officiated the ceremony...

Re: attending a wedding
I don't get where all the resentment comes from in dressing up and wearing a jacket to a wedding?
I guess I get the whole "I'm my own man, ill do what I wan't" attitude but it does not hurt to show some respect to the bride and groom by dressing appropriately.
It does also make a perfect cover garment.
However dressing appropriately to semi-formal and formal events has seem to fallen by the wayside since I was younger.Last edited by QuackXP; September 20th, 2011 at 02:37 PM.

Funny thing about Citizens Bank Park...
You have to stand up to use your cell phone.

Back on topic...
For future reference....recommend a tuck-able holster for my 3913.

Re: attending a wedding
I have three of these and love them, one for a Kahr CW9, an XD9sc and my SP101 357.
