Default Anyone want to split a 5,000 round auction of 7.62 x 39?

There's this guy on gunbroker doing 5,000 and 10,000 round counts of Golden Tiger 7.62 x 39. He's in NH. He has 5,000 round auctions (5 cases) at $1135 (here's one of his auctions: http://gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewIte...Item=141902126 ) ... the price breaks down to $227 per case (shipping isn't included in that BTW)

Or he has 10,000 round auctions at $2,250 .. see here:

    http://gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewIte...Item=141902927

I can't handle the whole $1135 (or $2250) but I will take at least one (maybe 2) cases ... so anyone want to come in with me?

If we can get enough people together to buy a 10,000 round lot I will see if I can pick it up if others will chip in for my gas and tolls (nothing extra). It's a 6 hour drive each way but that's not too horrible, just a 'long day'

I dunno DCD... That guy is selling a shit ton of ammo in multiple listings and has zero sales and zero feedbacks on GB, could be a scam..

But if he was willing to let you pay in person when you picked up the ammo I would be interested in a case or 2 or 3 Hell, I'd even ride up with you.

But I wouldnt be ready until next week..

Yeah I know and I intended to contact him and ask him if I could pay in cash and in person but I don't want to ask until I have the people together.

Would love some company for the ride too (if it happens) ... nothing worse than 12 hours driving with no one to talk to (and I know, I used to drive truck)

I'd be in for some, and can supply a truck to transport.

It would have to be 10-16,at the earliest for me.

Pssssst-----Do you realize that Cope's has GT for $249 a case. I sure as heck wouldn't trust a noob seller nor would i drive to NH to save $20 a case. But hey, that's me . Oh, and Cope's only charges $7.95 to ship it.

    Here's the link to Cope's.

Hell my car can handle 10 cases, no need for a truck at this point BUT explaining that many rounds to a cop might get interesting!

Yeah I have to check my funds next week too but I am 100% sure I can do one case and possibly two. Even if I have to cheat on a bill or two my 7.62 x 39 supply is WAY too low for my liking (esp when I am running through 500 rounds at every shoot).

Just a heads-up, Aim Surplus has 500rd cases of Brown Bear 7.62x39 for $110 each, which comes out to $220 for 1,000rds or $2,200 for 10,000 rounds.

Honestly I don't like BB as much as Golden Tiger!
