I saw the comercial for it. It looks cool. Dont know how well it will work. It looks kinda light to do any heavy nailing.

I've used the bostitch palm nailer (above) which runs off an air hose for driving nails in tight corners. The thing worked incredible and I couldn't believe the ease (and fun) it drove in framing nails. I believe the craftsman works in the same fashion. I think it may be a little more twisting pressure with the craftsman on your wrist then the palm nailer.

I do recommend the bostitch because from experience it is one fun ass little gadget. As for the craftsman I'm not sure of the durability.

I'm lost as to it's purpose. From the pyramids to current a standard hammer with hand eye coordination works. If you need in a tight spot you have the engineering wrong and build process was incorrect. Just my .02. I haven't bought Craftsman since I was a kid, crap is crap regardless of the name.

I must say it looks neat but the higher standard thing trumps it.

You have obviously never done extensive railing work (as on decks) ... I can think of a hundred uses for that thing.

i could of used one a few years back. everything was done on the new addition (we thought), until the inspector from hell (lower merion) shows up. no hurricane straps. i had the lovely job of trying to beat nails in with 2" of travel for my hammer. got'er done. and the inspector is still a dick!
