    Default Zombie--A consice definition

Thrusday while teaching a Basic pistol class to a couple that is new to our gun culture, I got a question that was different. They had just gone to their first gun show and wanted to know exactly what all this zombie stuff was about. I'm not sure if my answer was good enough, so after class I called my very smart friend Mike. The famous Mike the holster maker that some of you know from jsholsters.com. Ther next day he called back with this answer.

ZOMBIE- anyone (or group) that comes to harm you, or to take what is yours.

I really like that. short, clear, general, all inclusive.

I would love to have that on a t-shirt, and maybe a pafoa logo on the front.
Does anybody out there make t-shirts. Anyone else up for such a shirt?

Personally, I'd worry about making the Zombie Lobby angry with you...you could endure lawsuits, political fallout or getting your snotlocker whacked with a rolled newspaper.

That being said, I'll buy one.

Zombie: (def) noun a: undead walking only purpose to feed on living. Noun: b: autonomous nuclea with self motivation of flesh sustaining sustance. Noun: c: bipedal ex-animated humanoid.

AKA : nasty 2 legged thing wanting to end your life for their survival.

Before this thread gets going to wildly, I'll just remind everyone that the PAFOA name and/or logo cannot be used without the express permission of it's owner, Dan Pehrson.

I've used Zazzle as a source for custom Tee-Shirts. If you can create the artwork and use the software on their website, they can make the shirt (and a lot of other stuff as well) one at a time or lots. They aren't the least expensive but their quality is very good. Check them out.

If thats the definition "smart mike" came up with, I wouldn't credit him with being so smart. I've heard of one other person that for some reason thinks "zombie" means some sort of standard civil unrest. IE, a riot, roving gangs, etc.

Zombies are just that, zombies. Its not code, its not slang....zombies are zombies. And if someone has to look up what a zombie is, they are really living under a rock.

As for what this "zombie thing" thats going on now...its simply a fad thats caught on and it appeals to the masses. Like before that there was sort of a semi vampire craze going on. Now its zombies. Sure zombie movies have been around since movies have been being produced, but they just recently have REALLY caught on. It also wouldn't surprise me if the "gun boom" since the Obama election had something to do with this too. They are moving targets to shoot at, but no valuable human/animal life is lost. They are the perfect target, really.

Its like people in my area use the word "ignorant" to mean "rude". I have no idea how that started, but lets do our part to getting the train back on the tracks where it should be.
